Kyoto Satsuma Koshida Tea Caddy Maple & Gentian Gilt Enamel Jar w/Lid
Elegant Meiji-Taishō era Kyō-Satsuma tea caddy by the noted Koshida workshop of Kyoto. Cylindrical stoneware body and matching domed lid are hand-enamelled with russet maple leaves and blue gentian sprays, the details picked out in raised gilding. Interior retains its original flat moisture-seal lid painted with a single maple sprig. The underside bears Koshida’s impressed seal 越田, confirming genuine early-20ᵗʰ-century Kyoto craftsmanship. A refined storage jar for matcha, incense chips or display.
