Vintage Indonesian 800 Silver Yogya Ashtray with Floral Repoussé Decoration

A vintage Indonesian 800 silver ashtray, likely made in Yogyakarta during the mid-20th century. The piece has a distinctive tri-lobed form with three cigarette rests, a shallow hammered central bowl and an ornate relief border decorated with scrolling foliage and stylised floral motifs. The darkened recessed areas create an attractive contrast with the raised silver decoration and highlight the detailed craftsmanship.

The ashtray is clearly stamped “800” and “PWR” to the underside. The PWR stamp appears to be a workshop or maker’s mark; however, the identity of the individual silversmith has not been confirmed.
