A charming vintage American sterling silver lidded saccharin bowl by Web Silver Company of Philadelphia, dating to the mid-20th century. The compact footed form is finished with a gently domed lid and a simple round knob finial, creating a refined and practical tableware piece.
Originally intended for serving saccharin or sweetener tablets, the bowl may also be used as a small salt cellar, spice bowl or decorative trinket container. Its restrained design and polished sterling silver construction give it an understated elegance suited to both display and occasional use.
