Vintage Italian Silver-Plated Crystal Decanter by Galbiati for Buton 30cm c.1950

Elegant vintage decanter made in Italy by renowned silversmith G. Galbiati of Milan for Distillerie Buton, Bologna. This 30 cm tall decanter features a beautifully cut crystal body with diamond and lobed patterns, a silver-plated base and neck with intricate foliate repoussé, and a gilt spout. The ornate handle is crafted in the form of a serpent or dragon, adding dramatic flair. Includes its original silver label chain reading “Cherry Brandy Buton Liquore.” The cork stopper is still present but degraded. Marked to the base with Buton’s crest and Galbiati’s maker’s stamp.

A striking collector’s item ideal for display or vintage barware enthusiasts.
