Superb Antique George III Sterling Silver Sugar Caster – London 1813

London · 1813

$830AUD

A fine antique sterling silver sugar caster from the reign of George III, hallmarked for London 1813. This beautifully proportioned caster features a classic baluster form with deeply chased floral and scroll motifs, a pierced lid with finial, and a sturdy circular foot with reeded border. The lid is fully removable and fits securely. The body is decorated with an engraved crest. While the hallmarks are partially worn, the lion passant and date letter are clearly visible.
