Vintage Elizabeth II Sterling Silver Rococo Revival Trinket Dish by A Chick & Sons Ltd, London 1967
A Chick & Sons Ltd · 1967
A decorative vintage Elizabeth II sterling silver trinket dish or pin dish by A Chick & Sons Ltd, fully hallmarked for London, 1967.
Crafted in solid sterling silver, the small shaped dish is richly decorated with pierced and embossed Rococo Revival ornament. Flowing scrolls, stylised flowers and openwork lattice details frame a polished vacant central cartouche, creating an elegant contrast between the highly detailed border and the smooth interior reserve.
The dish has a particularly attractive decorative presence despite its compact proportions. It is suitable for use as a pin dish, ring dish, small trinket tray or bon-bon dish and would make an appealing addition to a collection of British silver or vintage dressing-table accessories.
