This elegant late Georgian table piece has a shaped oval body, a finely gadrooned rim, a gilt interior, a slender angular handle, and ornate foliate feet, giving it strong decorative presence and refined period character.

The jug bears clear London sterling silver hallmarks, including the lion passant, London assay mark, date letter for 1824, duty mark, and maker’s mark R.P, probably for Richard Poulden. The front is engraved with period initials, adding to its personal antique character.
