Antique Edwardian Sterling Silver-Mounted Cut Glass Trinket Pot by Henry Perkins & Sons, London 1907
Henry Perkins & Sons · 1907
A charming antique Edwardian cut glass trinket pot or ring dish with a sterling silver-mounted rim by Henry Perkins & Sons, fully hallmarked for London, 1907.
The glass body is decorated with deeply cut geometric patterns, including diamond-cut sides and a striking starburst design to the base. The faceted surface reflects the light beautifully, giving the small pot an attractive decorative presence despite its compact proportions.
The sterling silver collar carries clear London hallmarks, including the HP&Ss maker’s mark for Henry Perkins & Sons, the lion passant for sterling silver, the leopard’s head for the London Assay Office and the date letter “m” for 1907.
Suitable for use as a ring dish, small trinket pot or decorative dressing-table accessory, this Edwardian piece would make an appealing addition to a collection of antique vanity ware or British silver-mounted glass.
